Condo boards would be amazing reality TV. I don’t know why no one has made this into a series like “Real Housewives” or “Love & Hip Hop.” After one casual glance at a Reddit board from condo owners and homeowners association members complaining about power-tripping condo boards, it’s more than obvious that there is some interest there. The only problem with a reality show based on condo boards is that a sizable amount of the viewing audience would spend 99% of the show wondering one thing: “How did this small issue get this big?”

ADVERTISEMENT ~ Amazon

As an Amazon affiliate, I earn a percentage from purchases with my referral links. I know some consumers are choosing to boycott Amazon for its DEI removal. However, after thinking about this thoroughly, I want to continue promoting cool products from small businesses, women-owned businesses and (specifically) Black-owned businesses who still feature their items on Amazon. As of the first date of Black History Month 2025, each new post will ALWAYS include a MINIMUM of one product sold by a Black-owned business. (I have visited the seller’s official site to verify that Amazon Black-owned logo.) I am (slowly) doing this with older, popular posts too. If you still choose to boycott, I 100% respect that decision.

It seems like that’s how all condo board versus condo owner arguments start. In this Reddit post, a unit owner noticed a leaking water heater and a broken pipe. While one would think the average condo board would investigate this to fix the pipe and the leak, and avoid a higher water and sewage bill, this board chose only to say, “Thanks.”

Wow, super helpful.

Yahoo! Life had their own ideas about how to resolve wasted water usage: collecting shower water and creating rain barrels in your yard, along with a few other ideas.

I shook my head as soon as I saw “rain barrel.” I know the chaos that that suggestion will bring. In fact, that one topic led to a huge argument, a drink thrown and “hippie” debate.
